Congress Embarks on $16 Million SNF Renovation with HUD Early Start Approval
The Congress Companies recently received permission from HUD for Early Start Construction on the renovation of Bel Air Health Care Center, located in Milwaukee, WI. The project is a 6-phase, total renovation of the 90,000-square foot, 185-bed skilled nursing facility and was designed by Brommer Architects of PA.
Scope of work includes:
- Renovation of one full Nursing unit into 50 private, single bed rooms
- State-of-the-art, 4,500-square foot Rehabilitation Center
- Brand new therapy equipment
- Addition of flat screen TV’s, data connectivity, and high end finishes in all rooms
The Congress Companies proudly maintain a strong relationship with HUD, are one of the first builders in the country to successfully process under HUD’s new LEAN program, and have over 30 HUD-financed Nursing, Assisted and Independent Living, and Elderly Housing projects.
This project’s HUD Early Start was processed by our HUD Lender, Rockport Mortgage, on behalf of owner Milwaukee Health Care I, LLC, a subsidiary of The Congress Companies.
